I am so lucky. I have been married already! Unfortunately, I can't have babies, because my wife is a boy, and he's about twenty-four years older than I am. I am going to introduce you to the Date Organization. Also, let me introduce you to someone I know named Daddy. Each month, we go out on a ''date''. We go to the restaurant, watch a show blah, blah, blah. First, goes Caroline. Every time I can remember, she comes back with what she considers a reasonable amount of doughnuts, about, ah, two dozen. Then me, well, I almost always go to a hamburger restaurant. I know all the best classics- except In and Out, which, heartbreakingly, is not in N.C- Hardys, Burger King, Five Guys, Wendy's, we even went on a burger tour! And Mim, well, she's all over the place. ow the lawn with dad! Get a ''milksnake!''
We each get our own week. Then we wait, eh, about a couple more weeks, which is maybe like three dates every month total! Of course, sometimes, I hear daddy mention something about money, go in the room he's in, and come back out with all thought of money completely wiped out of my mind. Parents are dangerous with their convincing powers. Anyway, I'll leave the imagination part to you.

HERE'S A POEM I WROTE CALLED MY BUNNY [BY JONAH]
Here's a poem that I wrote called MY BUNNY:
This little rabbit
Had a bad habit:
He'd hop right over the bunny run gate!
He'd go down the street,
And flowers he'd eat,
And go to drink from our street grate!
He'd give a great cute stare
[Although he earned a glare]
He'd circle 'round into the pound and spend the night right there
While I was searching far, far, out
He'd hop over the gate,
and never would he be trouble...
Until the next
ESCAPE!
Thank you for reading. I will still be writing my Friday blog as usual! I just gotta say, never judge a book by it's cover. [Or a bunny by its cuteness]

Caroline says
Caroline's words of wisdom so far this morning (to Josh):
"You will probably have a heart attack first because you are the oldest."
"Why is your nose so big? It looks big like a cow's nose."
"We have to be silly at the table. Funny things keep happening!"
"Foxes can dig faster than anything. We should watch a video of that on your phone."

FIVE
Caroline is five. Five is officially out of little to me and into real person status. I remember being five. This year for her birthday dinner, she asked for chicken wings and chocolate cupcakes (with purple frosting and topped with a single Cocoa Puff each).
At five, she loves:
-wildcats (bobcats especially)
-fried eggs
-rolling down the hill
-painting her fingernails
-Cinnamon Toast Crunch
-lighting matches
-playing games with Jonah
-listening to Magic Treehouse and Boxcar Children stories
-The Witches by Roald Dahl
-talking about death or the weirder parts of how the human body works
-balloons
-coloring and writing lists
-doing addition
-being the only one in the family who was born in Alabama.
Other notable attributes at five years old:
-She is still our best cuddler. This must be the positive side of the never-wants-to-be-put-down thing she did the first year of life.
-Almost never wears anything other than skirts. In fact, I always do a double take when she is wearing pants.
-Caroline is extremely expressive. She sulks better than anyone in the house, has the eye roll down pat, and is the most enthusiastic when she's excited. Despite her expressiveness, it is really hard to get a good picture of her smiling.
-She knows all 26 letters and can write her name, Jonah's name, and Miriam's name. Up until now, this has been entirely self-taught.
-Her current life's ambitions are to be a scientist and a mom. During a recent discussion about the person she might marry, I told her that she probably hasn't met him yet. "I think it needs to be someone I know," she countered, "so I know what he's like." Good point, llama.

Day for J 2.0 [BY Jonah]
This time on TALES OF JONAH, I am writing about Thursday instead of Friday. So, I woke up, and breakfast was pancakes! Then daddy went to work and mommy toke a shower. Now, those of you who are children -including me- that are reading this, you will know that Shower Time is the ultimate disaster zone. Firstly, dad is at work, mom's supervision? COMPLETELY GONE! And.......yeah. So, after a few hours of cleaning, labor, labor, labor, and a few Mim meltdowns, {and a Caroline one, too}we were ready to play! Unfortunately, it was lunch time. Yippie. No, seriously. In our reading for school, we had a jailbreak- no two, since there was one in our scriptures- so Whoopie! Then we went to play in the snow. Or the 3'0'' wide space of what was left in it. Then, I went to write a blog. Hmmmmmmm....... I wonder what I should write about. Maybe that water spout.
EPILOUGH
So, the snow was melted on the roof, except for one little patch. Then, that patch melted and the water came WHOOOOOOOoooooooshing out the spout! So that was my day. Oh, and Caroline says:
"ZOOMOMAMAMACOTO" and "SALAAMOOMOO"

Miriam says
I don't know if this is a new development or just more noticeable because of the balloons we've had around for Christmas and Caroline's birthday, but Miriam pronounces the word as UH-bloon (as in, "I want to open the present with the UH-bloons on it!!")
When given a bag of M&Ms recently, she pointed to the package and read it: "This says, 'eh-eh-emmmmmmms.'"
When offered a cup of freshly-squeezed orange juice: "There's something in it! Them is NOT good!"
When she couldn't get her boots on by herself and I offered to help: "We just need to take out the undies!" (At which point, she pulled a clean pair of underwear out of each boot.) "There!"
Yesterday, we were talking about last year's trip to the zoo for Caroline's birthday. Miriam chimed in with, "When we went, when we went to the zoo and we had our zoo napkins? Our zoo papers? [Jonah said, "Our zoo maps?"] "Nes*, the zoo maps! And then we saw the cows farm and then the monkeys!!"

*I can't remember if I've explained this here or not. Miriam starts all affirmative words with the letter N. We get nes, nay, nah (for yeah...that one is confusing), and nep.
